Head Up Display
Head Up Displays, also known as HUDs, are a great convenience that helps keep you focused onthe road. The head-up display is essentially a see-through window that appears in front of the driver with the touch of a button.
It displays helpful information about speed limits, vehicle speed, cruise control, and turn-by-turn directions, among other driver-friendly features. Not only will you be able to look straight ahead without being distracted, this feature also helps you focus on keeping your eyes where they need to be.
The head up display can be found on the highest trim level of the Kia Telluride.
When the Kia Telluride’s third row is folded, there is a cargo space of 21 cubic feet, 46 cubic feet with these seats folded, and 87 cubic feet when all the rear seats are folded. For a midsize SUVs, that’s above-average cargo area space. Power liftgates are available with hands-free functionality.
There are seven- and eight-seat configurations available for the Kia Telluride. This three row SUV has good headroom and legroom, even for tall occupants and can accommodate up to eight passengers.

The front seats are manually adjustable and the upholstery is synthetic leather. A variety of power-adjustable front seats will also be available, as well as heated and ventilated seats for the first and second rows.
Three complete sets of child safety seat LATCH connectors are available in the Kia Telluride, two for the outboard seats of the second row and one for the driver’s seat of the third row. There is only one powertrain configuration for the Kia Telluride – a 291-horsepower V6 engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. However, it is a good match for this SUV. The Kia Telluride’s V6 is a powerful engine, and it has no problem getting up to speed and around town. Transmission shifts are smooth, and the throttle response is quick. All models come standard with front-wheel drive. A four-wheel drive system is available.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
As the driver’s vehicle is in reverse and backing out of a parking space, the Telluride’s Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance System alerts the driver if another vehicle is approaching from the left or right. Depending on the model, this specific system might also display the alert icon on the dashboard with accompanying audible alerts.
On many Kia vehicles, the rear bumper is equipped with an advanced radar system to alert drivers of cross traffic.
A blind spot view monitor, like those used in blind spot monitoring, receives information from behind your vehicle in order to see whether any objects are behind you. Although the rear-path sensors do not scan as far as the blind spot monitors, they are angled outward to alert you of moving objects before they are directly in front of you.
Regardless of which trim level you choose, the 2021 Kia Telluride can tow 5,000 pounds, no matter what its trim level. The Kia Telluride is equipped with a 3.8-liter Lambda DOHC 24-valveV-6 engine that is capable of handling almost any towing job.

The Kia Telluride is a true SUV, so it comes with all-wheel drive, an option available across the entire range. The fuel economy is, as you’d expect, reduced, but only slightly. With an EPA estimate of 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway, the Kia Telluride delivers decent mileage for a midsize SUVs. When equipped with all-wheel drive, fuel economy falls to 19/24 mpg city/highway.
While most rival three row SUV come with V-6 engines, the Kia Telluride only offers the V-6. Front-drive versions get 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway, according to the EPA.
