Kia Sportage 2019
Engine
Kia Sportage 2019 offers two engine options. An optional 2.0L turbocharged engine produces 240 horsepower, while the standard engine is a 2.4L four-cylinder that produces 181 horsepower. Front-wheel drive comes standard with a six-speed automatic transmission; all-wheel drive is available on all trims.
The 2019 Kia Sportage gets 10 L/100km in the city and 7.8 L/100km on the highway with the 2.4L four-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive.
Interior
The 2019 Kia Sportage offers plenty of space for five passengers and two rows of seats. The interior space is 30.7 cubic feet when all the seats are folded up.
Those bulky items can be stored in 60.1 cubic feet of space by folding down the second row. The rear bench can be split 60/40, and the manually adjustable front seats can be folded flat, providing many options for layout.
In the 2019 Kia Sportage, you should be able to sit for longer periods without feeling tired. All 2019 models have supportive, comfortable front seats.
Rear passengers enjoy 38.2 inches of legroom; second-row seats should offer excellent comfort as well. An insulated interior helps reduce road noise, ensuring a comfortable ride.

Kia Sportage 2020
Engine
Powered by a 2.4L inline 4-cylinder engine, the 2020 Kia Sportage comes standard with a front-wheel drive system. Engines such as this one can produce up to 181 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque.
The 2.4L engine is coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission and comes standard with front-wheel drive. The 2.4L engine is estimated to offer 23 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway, according to EPA figures.
In addition to the 2.4L inline 4-cylinder engine, Dynamax All-Wheel Drive can also be specified. As a result of this system, the 2.4L engine gets 22 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway when equipped with this system. A 2.4L inline 4-cylinder engine comes standard on the S, LX, and EX trim levels of the Kia Sportage 2020 year model.
Mileage
According to the EPA, a non-turbo Sportage can achieve 10 L/100km in town and 8 L/100km on the highway. If all-wheel drive is added, those numbers fall by 1 and 4 miles per gallon, respectively.
Sportage is the fastest compact crossover SUV in its class. It took 6.7 seconds to accelerate a 2017 Sportage from 0 to 100km/h, which ranks among the quickest in this class.
On base models, a sedate but capable non-turbo four-cylinder engine fills the rest of the powertrain platter. There’s no noticeable difference between the two models in terms of driving enjoyment.
Interior
The higher you climb the trim ladder, the more features you’ll find, including ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof. Wireless charging is now available as well as leatherette seats.
With enough space for both the front and rear seats, this crossover SUV is surprisingly spacious. You can expect a comfortable and satisfying drive with the Sportage’s sleek and completely redesigned interior and plush interior trimmings.
