Position: Licensed Automotive Technician

Job Responsibilities:
• Perform accurate and efficient diagnosis of automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Complete complex automotive repairs, such as engine overhauls, transmission replacements, and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Adhere to manufacturer’s specifications and industry standards while working on various makes and models of vehicles.
• Inspect and test vehicles to identify potential safety concerns and ensure they meet safety and emissions standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance requirements clearly to clients and addressing their concerns.
Collaborate with the service team to optimize workflow and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
• Valid and current Automotive Service Technician License.
• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
• In-depth understanding of automotive systems, components, and electronics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose complex issues effectively.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining quality standards.

We are hiring a Fixed Operations Manager for an Edmonton and area franchise automotive dealership!
The Fixed Operations Manager is a key member of the senior management team responsible for managing our Service and Parts departments and plays a huge role in the overall success of the dealership. The successful candidate will be well versed in all aspects of service and parts operations, specifically customer loyalty and retention, shop management, inventory management, and development of effective processes. A key requirement is understanding how to maximize sales and gross profit while maintaining customer loyalty.
Essential Skills:
Proven track record of strong leadership skills; coaching, planning, training
Comfortable reporting on industry standard KPI’s / metrics
Ability to maximize shop productivity and efficiency
Ability to maximize service and parts sales and gross profit
Strong knowledge of warranty administration
Team player with a focus on efficient, quality workmanship and achieving sales goals in a fast-paced environment
Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and retention. Focus on customer loyalty and repeat business and experience winning back lost customers
Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with customers, manufactures and third party vendors
Ability to manage questions regarding vehicle problems, warranties, services & repairs
Experience managing a team through change & growth
3+ years of work experience in a similar role
Responsibilities:
Build a culture that emphasizes to customers the importance of consistent and regular vehicle maintenance
Efficiently assist customers with the highest level of service
Maximizes sales opportunities by focusing on key metrics and establishing proper processes
Takes a proactive interest in the development & training of the team
Maximize workflow in the Service and Parts department
Monitors drive through flow and service advisor sales performance
Reviews the previous months sales / profits and plans for growth
Marketing the departments to drive profitability
Creates a strong team environment promoting employee satisfaction
Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction and customer retention

Salary: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
